Week 4 - Exploring Sound with DB Boyko

Exploring and stretching the capacity of our voices, this week we participated in an interactive sound workshop led by artist DB Boyko.

We began with simple  concepts like "breath", and tried to express those ideas with sound.
Next, we considered volume, intonation, tempo, movement, and percussive sounds to create variation.  This culminated in all of us working together as a "chorus", led by DB's expert conducting.  As a group, we became a vocal orchestra, with DB guiding us in different  to roles to create a unique soundscape.
