(Sorry for the lateness.) Although an illegally downloaded image from his website, Kamalky Laureano is one of those artists who have hyper realism down to a science. So honestly, go check his stuff out!

2) N/A. He's not much of a talker on his website. Maybe email him? I think the piece is about anticipation as the young girls looks eager for something.
3) He's very skilled and is able to capture human emotions well, which drew me to his work. Over time I hope to be able to paint/draw hyper-realistically as well. Also skill level. *flaps around*
